Pink Wednesday Glitter Sandwich

Hey everyone!

I'm participating in my first Pink Wednesday! Note my banner on the side, I'm so excited. I've only ever attempted Pink Wednesday once before and accidentally posted it on Tuesday thinking it was Wednesday. Yes not my my cleaver moment. I went to my local Ulta store and found some OPI in the clearance section. I've been looking for a pretty pink Jelly finish. And I found it in OPI's Guy Meets Gal-veston which is part of their Texas collection.

This was one coat on Guy Meets Gal-Veston. I really enjoy this color, it's a brighter pink but not neon of course. I also wanted to do a Jelly Sandwich so I used my own polish (Tara's Nail Polish) called I Killed the Teen Dream.

This is 3 coats of my polish I Killed the Teen Dream (by itself). It's available at my Etsy store by clicking <<here>>.

And here it is with Guy Meets Gal-veston. I love the way this look. It's so pretty.

It's so pink and glittery and just wonderful. It's my favorite glitter sandwich I've done thus far. And it's extra special because it features my own creation. I hope you liked it and much as I did!

Tara's Nail Polish Update!

Hey everyone!

I haven't really mentioned it much before but I make my own franken polishes and sale them on Etsy. I've been waiting on new bottles and balls (stainless steel only!). Finally they came in today so I've been doing some updating.

My First Time...with Julie G

Hey everyone!

I went to Rite Aid a while back and of course sift through the nail polish. Typically Rite Aid has some pretty awesome sales not to mention they have the newest collection displays. On this trip I happened to go by a display of square bottles. These bottles were the brand Julie G (Facebook) which is part of Jesse's Girl Cosmetics (Facebook). I've never actually seen these anywhere else and I was pleasantly surprised by the color options. I did have a situation at Rite Aid. They had the bottles with others that were priced $2, however when I got them to the register they rang up at almost $5 a bottle. The bottles themselves are only 10ml whereas a regular sized bottle is 15ml. I felt that paying almost $5 for one bottle, when it wasn't as much as similar polishes, was disappointing. Lucky for me, Rite Aid gave me the $2 price because they didn't have a price tag anywhere that said the $5 amount.

Pure Ice Vinyl Remix

Hello everyone,

Sorry I've been gone for a while. My nail polish kind of took off on me and I had to make quite a few extra bottles. And having a 1 & 1/2 month old makes doing your nails kind of difficult. But I'm working on it!

I was lucky enough to receive Pure Ice Vinyl Remix in the mail from Bari Cosmetics (who manufactures Pure Ice). Pure Ice is actually one of my favorite brands. The price is excellent ($1.99 a bottle in my area), the colors are fantastic (Silver Mercedes is the perfect silver stamping polish), and they are at Walmart! I received 2 colors, DJ Spinner (Green) and Vintage Remix (Purple). With the Avengers recently out in theaters it was perfect! (Hulk, duh!)
